Broken Mirror Brewery

For this assignment, I was tasked with creating a brand for Broken Mirror Brewery a craft beer company. To create the brand, I designed 3 flavors of beer (Jinxed Bitter Ale, Three On A Match IPA, and Under A Ladder Lager) and created a packaging system for one of the 3 flavors that could be produced. In this process, I designed a logo that works as an ambigram reading forward and backward, a bold, strong logo mark, and a pattern recognition system custom for the brand. I wanted this beer to play on the high end of formal design while juxtaposing the grunge aesthetic.
