(College Project) - Completed 2023

For this project, I designed a tri-fold informational pamphlet for the Getty Museum, focusing on the landscape paintings of Jacob van Ruisdael. The layout emphasizes the artwork, allowing curated images to take center stage across the front and back panels, while thoughtfully crafted text provides historical context and narrative flow. A deep green accent color was incorporated throughout the design to visually echo the natural tones of Ruisdael’s landscapes, bridging historical art with a contemporary design approach. Typography choices, including justified text, hyphenation, and drop caps, were used to create a formal, elegant presentation that balances readability with a refined, museum-quality aesthetic. The final piece prioritizes clarity, hierarchy, and visual restraint, creating an engaging, informative pamphlet that respects both the artwork and the viewer’s experience.
