This project challenged me to design a book cover for The Stepford Wives that feels visually striking while capturing the unsettling themes of the story. Using collage, I merged a figure from the narrative with symbolic elements that reflect identity, control, and artificial perfection. A purple-toned palette creates an elegant yet eerie atmosphere, balancing beauty with discomfort. Strong compositional structure and layered imagery work together to create a cover that feels polished, intriguing, and reflective of the novel’s psychological tension.
