Stage Fright is a horror film festival brand designed to evoke suspense, unease, and anticipation through expressive typography and color. The custom letterforms are fluid and ghost-like, interlocking with one another while preserving negative space to keep each character visible and legible. This balance between cohesion and separation mirrors the tension found in horror storytelling, revealing just enough while withholding clarity.
A red-to-black gradient was used to symbolize fear, danger, and the descent into darkness, reinforcing the emotional tone of the festival while adding visual depth and drama to
the identity.
